G'Day friends, family and anyone who generally cares about us.
Firstly we must apologize for the apparant lack of spelling and grammar in our updates, this is mainly due to our excitment at sharing our stories and good times with you all, and briefly forgetting at times to spell or type properly, but hopefully you can understand most of our wittering.
Anyway we left you in Hervey Bay, where we got dropped off from our Fraser tour, there wasn't much to do in Hervey Bay accept sun bath on the beach and turn our faces from white and pale, to pink and red with a hint of brown. We made our way to Agnes Water in the evening, where we had one day full of some major activity. Waking up early to an over cast day we went to the local surf shop to sign up for some surf lessons, the last opportunity on the coast we head north. So dressed in the tightest, bright red surf school tops, we headed to the beach with a group of 15. After a 20minute intro the rain started, as we were getting wet anyway it really didn't matter at all. We headed for the water and attempted to surf, it was absolutley exhausting but we both managed to stand up on the board and surf in to the beach on several occasions, however we did fall off more than surf.
After a hefty lunch to restore our energy we joined the scooteroo convoy. Basically riding a moped dressed up to look like a mini Harley Davidson, Amy was suppose to join me on the back of mine, but they said that she was to heavy (there actual words being I was a 'big man!' and she couldnt join me on the back) so dueto me carrying around far too much muscle Amy reluctantly gother own bike. Shewas very nervous, but after getting use to the controls (realising is was relativley easy to just pull the handle a steer) she had an awesome time. We completed 60km and saw some huge wild Kangaroos.
We left Agnes water on an overnight bus journey, 9 hours of rough sleep for me, Amy slept well, trumping in her sleep several times, to the announance of others, but very ammusing to me.
We are now in Airlie Beach, staying here for 3 nights before we head to do a Whitsundays tour, so we will update you tomorrow with hopefully some good times.
