Hey all,

I'm back in Sydney for my last 2 days in Australia. Left Alice Springs on Monday arvo. I was pleased about leaving because the hostel didn't have any hot water and I was getting fed up with cold showers!

The flight from Alice to Sydney was only 3 hours. Barely enough time to get comfy. Took a cab to the hostel (the one in Kirribilli where I stayed before) and as soon I went over the bridge and saw the opera house I felt like I was at home! Not sure if it's because Sydney now feels familiar to me or what but it was a really nice feeling.

Met up with Tania (Maggie Island buddy) who is now depressed and working as a dental nurse here to save enough money for a flight home! We had a few drinks, nothing crazy though and took a few stupid snaps.

Tuesday - I spent the day shopping for souveniers. It was great! Posted them all home so when you get the package Mum and Dad please don't open it!! Bailey has a present too.

Went over to Darling Harbour later afternoon to meet some other travel buddies - Brian and Colleen from my Whitsunday's trip. Had a few drinks with them and caught up. It's so weird to be thinking about going home!

There was a psychic in the bar doing free readings so we all signed up. I got told that I'm fiercely independant, that at the moment I am always on the go and I should relax. She also told me that I;m very creative (not true!) and that I will study more soon and change jobs. Apparently I will be getting together with my soul mate (great- where the bloody hell is he?!) soon and we'll have 2 children! She also said I would travel again when I'm 50 (can't wait that long!)

It was very interesting and lots of fun.

Popped over to see Nadia, Loynes and Kade on Tuesday evening. It was great to see them so happy in their new home and enjoying their new life in Sydney.
