Full on day today. Went to buckingham palace for changing of the guard, Westminster abbey, Churchill museum, imperial war museum, London eye. We need more time! Museums are huge & fascinating but not enough time to absorb everything. Got kicked out of war museum after only seeing a quarter & no, it wasn't just grant lagging behind. Saw blue police box, the tardis for those ignorant of Dr Who, but as it was being used for an antiwar protest, thought it better not to photograph it. Everyone a bit tired and could only manage maccas for dinner on the Thames near the eye. Hotel has free drinks & snacks at night but never get back in time to indulge. Luckily we can manage their breakfast & free wifi.
