Just a quick entry as this is my last blog from Bolivia!! Arrived in La Paz at 5.30 this morning after a surprisingly good bus journey from Potosi. Have been exploring the city today which is pretty nice but nothing special compared to other cities, although the view of the mountain is great as it is the highest capital in the world. People watching is great in Bolivia and we spent ages watching the shoe shine man (not sure if that was his official title!) and still loving the ladies in their bowler hats! Spent most of the day in the witches market which was a little bit scary and had dried llama fetuses amongst other delights! I start my 3 week Inca Heartland and Amazon tour today and the hotel I am staying at is lovely. There are only 5 of us on the tour which is a shame but hopefully it will be a nice group. Have just met my roomate who seems really nice and we have a welcome meeting at 6pm so I will meet the others then. Am really looking forward to letting someone else organise me for the next few weeks as South America has been exhausting! Off to Lake Titicaca tomorrow, I can´t wait to see Peru! Only 3 weeks to go xx
