Back home Well what can I say, thought I should update one last time, I know your all wondering what's happened. I decided to come home as I couldn't complete the walk after all. Its taken quite some time to get over the injury and the allergic reaction to the Ibruprophen. I spent several days with my legs elevated trying to get the odema swelling and meds out of my system. Day who cares Well it's not good news people. I went to hospital today. X-rays etc. I've been told not to finish the walk. I've been told only to walk again when I have no pain. Probably another 5 days with foot elevated. Still it's not broken. Pain killers etc. so right now I feel like tears as I write this. Intact I'm on my way home to drink a few cold beers to drown my sorrows. Trying hard to put on a brave face but this is very hard news. All is not complet...

Day 22 Ok so the update today is I'm in Madrid or just outside Madrid at my friends house. Came here Friday evening it was a dreadful drive back over the mountains as there were freak storms resulting in several big accidents where cars had skidded on the hail and snow. Not really heard of at this time of year. Enjoyed a catch up with Linda and Carlos. There two lovely girls Sonia and Suzanne. The weather should be hot but has a spring feel to it, so no sun bat...

Oh my god this town is boring. The church is closed the tortilla I'm eating is dry. The weather is crap. Drab drab drab. Waiting for my friend to come I'm going to Madrid for a couple of days as the weather is so cold in the north. There expecting snow in the next couple of days great. I may have a vino tinto just to break the boredom of hanging here. Yawn.
