The best news on Friday 8/11/13 Finley Arlo Kirchener made his entrance into the world at 1.21am an weighed 3263gr. He is a most beautiful baby and has Jon's chin and both parents height. John has not stopped smiling and spent several hours at the hospital today.

Saturday 9/11 after our visit to see Finley and Jen, we went to the city and had a fabulous steak at the Steak Expert, then saw a movie, so many people out and about.

Sunday 10/11 Jen and Fin are home from hospital, so we had some wonderful cuddles today.

On Tuesday 12/11 after Remberance Day we went to the Churchill War Rooms, which were fascinating. We visted the poppy field at Westminster Cathedral for 11/11 a most amazing scene and certainly a wonderful way to remember our fallen after visiting WW1 and WW11 war sites on our trip.

Thursday 14/11 prepared a farewell lunch at Jen and Jon's for Margie and Glenn.

Had a day in the city 19/11, very cold day, thank goodness for our Uniqlo jackets. We went to Fortnum and Mason, what a fabulous shop and the christmas decorations were fabulous and we had a very tasty lunch. Had dinner with Jen and Jon and exchanged our Christmas presents.

Last day 20/11 and I had a quick trip to Portobello Markets for a few last minute items. Packed and off to say goodbye to Jen and Jon and for the last cuddle of our precious grandson who certainly has lots of personality. It is cold and wet and then we had a nice suprise when Jon drove us to the airport. Homeward bound via Dubai and into warm weather!!
