Day 10 Wednesday 21/08 Interlaken 22deg Gloriously sunny - John here...Caught the bus to catch the train to go to the "Top of Europe", Jungfraujoch. Three separate traIn changes with masses of people with everyone rushing to get a seat first. Once you reach the top the visit is arranged like a tour moving you from point to point. On the way up you had the opportunity to stop inside a mountain to take in the views of the Eiger at 3970m (13026ft). We reached the Jungfraujoch after two hours. The tour allowed you to walk around the weather station, get out onto the snow and take in the magnificent views. Part of the tour included a walk through ice caves and ice tunnels. We then took a different train route to come back down and were back at our hotel in time for dinner. A great experience.
