Nick here...
Last night we stayed at the Tsitsikamma Village Inn located at Storms River. Best description I can give this venue is that the rooms were very simple and rustic with each room named after a farm animal. Our room being the Cow room, the TImo's the Sheep room. Need I say anything else. Timo! Certainly very different however not one I would like to revisit!
As usual we started the day with a nosh up of a hearty breakfast which was great. Now I'm not one to tell tales, however the girls this morning excelled themselves at breakfast by having scones, jam and cream which they devoured as if there was no tomorrow. Timo and I made no comment as we felt our lives may have been in danger.
We departed Tsitsikamma for Port Elizabeth a distance of some 120 km taking the scenic route. We drove through the Formosa nature reserve with it's magnificent landscape of towering and sweeping mountain ranges, an abundance of lush green fields, pine tree plantations as well as native trees which resembled our Wattle trees in full bloom and indigenous flora. Absolutely breathtaking scenery. We continued our journey to Jeffrey's Bay, locally known as JBay which is renowned for its surfing. We were very disappointed in JBay and we all gave it the thumbs down. Moving on we completed our days journey to Port Elizabeth.
Port Elizabeth now forms part of the Nelson Mandela Bay to honour the former president Nelson Mandela. The combined metropolitan area has a population estimated at around 1.5 million. Port Elizabeth is a beautiful city and offers a diverse selection of historic heritage, magnificent wildlife, cultural experiences and 40 km of breathtaking coastline.
Late afternoon we checked into No.5 Boutique Art Hotel being our accommodation for the next two nights before we depart for Sydney. This hotel is incredible, nestled in the beachfront of Summerstrand and truly a lavish and luxurious boutique accomodation.
What a fitting way to end our fantastic and unforgettable adventure in Africa.

Debbie Cockle Incredible and very appropriate from Nelson Mandela. I love Boutique Hotels & B& B's. How long have you been away?
