Day 19 Thursday 29/08 Montreuil 24 deg Sunny -

We are enjoying just relaxing in this town and have wandered around a different part today, so many photo opportunities! Had our morning coffee at a different cafe today which was very good, along with a Croque Monsieur (or ham & cheese toasted sandwich, where the outside is buttered or done in a very light egg batter)...boy are they smokers here and I suppose with a packet of fags at only €6.90 they can well afford to! After lunch we headed to Abbeville station, 45k away to pick up Enid who arrived after 39hrs of travelling by plane, train and automobile. We had a walk around the town, a most delicious celebration dinner at our cottage of the local produce and then Enid collapsed into bed...tomorrow is another day for adventure!
