Along the way today we drive through dense bush studded with giant Baobab trees, the tree that god apparently planted upside down. The biggest one in Namibia being on our route!

A 200km stretch of tarmac heading north east up through the area known as Kavango Land.A definite change of landscape - with attractive little villages of small rondevals - round thatched cabins surrounded by fencing - to the town of Rundu where we refuel. Here we join up with the Kavango River.
