After a flight from Hanoi to Bangkok and a long queue to get our passport checked where we watched several Russians try to push in, only to be turned away everytime we arrived at our hotel on Kohsan Road. It was recommended to us and we chose it as it had a rooftop pool so we could relax for our last 3 days while topping up the tan. However instead of going straight to the pool we went to MBK shopping mall as ur top priority in Bangkok was to shop for ourselves and get some presents for family. The mall was huge with 7 floors, it was a mixture between an indoor market and a mall with proper shops. After 6 hours shopping we started to tire and headed back to the hotel to flop. But we had such a fun time stocking up fake watches, handbags etc.. all for really reasonable prices! Infact we had such a good time we headed back the next day after some time at the pool. This time we wern't there for as long but still enough to get lots! By this time our second case was full to the brim. That evening we went through our rucksacks chucking everything that we didn't need to make room for our shopping, luckily it fitted in the end! Our last day in Bangkok we spent by the pool and it felt sureal that our trip had come to an end. It hasn't felt like we have been away for 5 months but we have had a brilliant time and made some great friends along the way!
