We visited the Weir and as the water was still flowing over their is no water restrictions in place. Also the post office and the court house of historical buildings built around 1899 over 100 years old. We did not know Bourke is the resting place of Fred Hollows also in the cometary are the graves of several Afghans associated with the camel industry which ceased in the 1920, and also a few policemen shot by bushrangers. Gundabooka national park discovered by Sturt and Humes party in 1829 their are caves containing aboriginal art over 40000 years. So much to see we retuned to the caravan for lunch and a clean up of the car and caravan before heading out again to the radio station and at sunset the old bridge.

I heard there was a a huge property that was just put into a national trust and its the only place in the in murray basin that has unitterupted water ways. It also has a huge wetlands. http://www.bushheritage.org.au/naree-station
