What an adventure! The day with the elephants sounds like a dream...
Can't believe you will be in Koh Tao now, that is one of my favourite places in the world. So chilled, it's just incredible.
We stayed on the beach where you get the long boats across to the little nature reserve island. J was swimming with black tip reef sharks... well frantically chasing them I believe might be more accurate! This is also where I hung up my snorkling hat, as a huge cuttle fish very rudely swam (or did that tenticle push thing!) about 1 mm away from my face and made me cut my foot on the coral and nearly drown (not being at all dramatic!

Hi James ,
Your blogs are amazing ,where did you learn to write so well . I was jealous of your day with the elephants , it sounded fun. Really not jealous of all the odd sounding food you have tried you must have a very strong tummy . Have fun on your diviing course . Keep safe .

Hi mate.
I too have reached the end of a 6 week holiday journey. Back to work tomorrow, hopefully the idea of all of us in work will make the sale of the bike a little easier to take!! It sounded like you had an epic trip through Vietnam and got well off the beaten track would have loved to have joined you for a week or two!
You can't get too homesick - it sounds as though you have had a little of the rain that has been too common this summer!
Keep safe, enjoy beerlaos!

Hey JP..
Blogs are making me more jealous by the day!

Keep safe xx

James,
Good work on the blogs, brings back memories. Who knew you were quite so articulate! Your trip is sounding excellent, my only problem is that I wish I was there too!
Beware the snake whiskey in Vietnam, an interesting drink!
Take care

Glad to hear you are having fun , the island sounds idilic, weather here is really grim , cold and very wet ,not summer at all . Looking forward to your next blog , perhaps with a photo or two just to prove you are there and not writing your blog from the shed. Look after yourself .xxx
