Jo's Adventures In SE Asia
In the morning we found a new place to stay, it was called Riverside Bungalows (clue is in the name), we had views of the mountains so we were pleased with our find! In the afternoon we got a tuk-tuk (along a very bumpy dusty road) to Poukham caves. The only caves I have been to so far were the very touristy, easily accesible Pak Ou caves, thererfore we were in for a shock!! We had to climb up 100m of rocky mountain to reach the caves (hard when in flip-flops!), but it was worth it! The caves were huge inside, and even with two torches we could barely see 2ft in front of ourselves! After getting very sweaty and dusty at the bottom of the mountain was a blue lagoon which we dived into to cool down! My best day so far!!
