Jo's Adventures In SE Asia
We visited the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda in the morning, the grounds of the palace were beautiful, although you could only visit certain areas but we were very disappointed with the Silver Pagoda! After lunch we visited the national museum, the building itself was amazing. We then visited the S-21 prison, which during 75-78 17,000 people were tortured. Only 7 people survived the prison. As you can imagine, it was quite depressing! In the evening we found a lovely lakeside bar/hostel where we met a really funny cambodian man called Mr Bee (his real name was mike!). He spoke really good english and had a really good sense of humour!
