Australia Zoo! Taking the free bus from Noosa we headed an hour south towards Australia Zoo, set up by Steve Urwin. The Zoo is huge and took us hours to explore. Free shows and feedings are available. We took advantage of this and headed to watch the main animal show. This consisted of birds, snakes, and most importantly the crocs. Noosa - 27th Jan - 1st Feb Travelled up in the rain, (more rain!) to Noosa Heads, a couple of hours from Brisbane. A much smaller place situation by the beach and the river surrounded by National Parklands. A very rich area too which beauitful big houses, flash cars and lots of big boats. Brisbane 21st - 26th Jan Arriving in Brisbane from Coolangatta was miserable to say the least! Greated with heavy downpour and wind i was most miserable getting on the bus and waddling down the road with my bags. Coolangatta 15th Jan - 21st Jan. Coolangatta is the first town of the Gold Coast, about an hours drive from Byron Bay and right on the Boarder of NSW and Queensland.
