Hello We crossed the boarder from Bolivia into Chile and stayed in a place called San Pedro de Atacama. It is in the middle of the desert and it literally never rains. Its hot during the day but cools down at night and is very dusty. I think the reason that my back pack seems so much heavier is that there is half a deserts worth of sand in there now too.
