I'm currently living life on the Gili Islands, which literally translates to 'small islands'. It took me about an hour to get here by boat from Bali, and life on these islands is 100x better than what I experienced in Bali. Bali was cool for what it was, but here is so much quieter, and the other travellers and locals are much friendlier.

The island I'm on has a mere population of just 700 and it's only like 3kmx2km so it's easy to find your feet.

My flight out of Bali is on the 10th of October so I'm thinking I'm going to stay on these islands until the 9th and go back to Bali for one more night in order to catch my plane.

So my next few actions will be: chill here, get a boat back to Bali, fly to Singapore, then 2 days later on to Australia.
