Hola from Hanoi!!!, I left Laos 3 days ago and I've been traveling through crazy Vietnam since (those crazy vietnamese drive like mad!!!...I'm sure you know what I mean if you've been here).Trying to cross the roads here should be considered an extreme sport!!! Internet connections are not great here so I cannot download any pictures this time, hopefully next stop in Halang Bay (north of Vietnam). I've decided to change my trip, instead of going south to Saigon I will go north to China and travel until Hong Kong.Apparently I will travel through places which you can only do if you go with a guide so I thought it was now or never to do that. Sadly, yesterday, I had to say goddbye to my travel mates (Kim, Matthew,Viv, Natasha,Barbara, Duncan and Sharn...I will miss you all!!! and I hope we will meet again in Australia in few months time). I did enjoy the hole trip from Bangkok to Hanoi and it will be difficult to choose a favourite moment althought tubing on the Vieng Vang river was really good fun (even I got my first taste of stomach decomposion the day after and I still think it was something to do with the water...). The scenery is much different here and I think I cannot beat the pictures from Laos but southern China looks promising (and very cold too!!!). As you see there is not much going on at the moment because distances here are huge (and speed limits really low) so I've spend much of last weeks on a bus from one border to the other...so until then is "Hasta luego amigos"!!
