Arrived in Quito after a very satisfactory journey from Belize (via Miami). American Airlines' incompetence got me a free night in a nice hotel - clean sheets, hot bath, free room service for 3 meals...all bliss when you're travelling! One of the best things about Quito was my Spanish teacher! Took lessons, and my teacher, Rocio, was lovely, very funny, and now we are friends. Gracias Rocio, mi profesora loquita, por tu amistad. Nos divertimos, no? Te extraño. Me rei todo los dias contigo.
