So after a late departure, our plane was apparently slowed down by wind. We finally arrived at the Auckland airport after 13 and a bit hours, several movies and a couple of hours sleep here and there. We disembarked our plane with about 15 minutes to get through customs, collect our bag and go through all the declaring stuff. Well, it's that time again, off overseas again with my travel buddy. After arriving to Auckland we made our way to the International Airport, surprising within just a couple of minutes we ran into 4 of the guys from Jiu Jitsu who had just arrived back from 2 weeks of training in Japan. After arriving at the International terminal we were advised that our flight to Santiago had been delayed by just over 2 hours, great thing about that... Free food, due to the wait...

Back in New Zealand, it was a fantastic flight back to Auckland from LA. The flight was so empty I was able to grab an empty row, lie down and actually get some sleep. I must have slept for at least 6-7 hours, so I'm very relaxed. Though to Duty Free (too late for you guys who wanted anything) and then through customs, on the way to customs there was a sniffer dog out sniffing away at some lady who started freaking out. So I've made it to Auckland, and it's finally starting to kick in. In just over a 13 hours I'll be in the USA, I'll be landing in Los Angeles where I'll be staying for a couple of days before heading to Vegas. Flight to Auckland was nice and it was great to see the blue sky after 2 days of rain and wind. It's hard to believe that the weather up here is so different to Chch. Sounds like the guys in LA waiting for me want to go to Knott's Berry Farm when I land ins...
