Hey there everybody. Its been a while since my last postcard. I've had quite a busy time in the last month or so running around Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. I wont bore you with the details of the places I've been except to say that Full Moon Party Rocks! Having left the party on Ko Pagnan a few days ago I am now in the bustling, dirty, sprawl of Bangkok where I have been staying on the infamous Koasan road. By day i manic mix of food hawkers, street vendors selling t-shirts and knock-off cds, bleary eyed tourists just off the plane from LA or Heathrow and seasoned travelling veterans sipping beer or shakes from the many cafe that line the sides. BY night it gets crazier and seedier with Tuk Tuk drivers and others shouting "taximan taximan" and trying to get you to come with them to see the PingPong shows (ask a friend or relative) or vistit the "massage" parlours. Bizarrely there seem to be many families with young children around, still it is a manjor tourist mecca. Today I leave by overnight train (a grueling 15hour journey) to the North and Chang Mai from where i will go to hmmmm. . . See where i fell but the laid back Laos has been calling for a while.
