Preparation

Our vehicle is nearly ready with all we need for Africa (we hope) - plenty of spare parts, but not too many, and modifications to suspension etc. anticipating rough and difficult roads.

We've outfitted the camper for a comfortable 'home' for the next 12 months.

Shipping, carnet de passage, visas are all works in progress.

We've mapped our route using 'Tracks 4 Africa' and our Garmin GPS, and located possible sites for camping and overnight stays. It's just a plan, but somewhere to start.

We are getting very excited!
