Well finally arrived here in Phuket after a 12 hour journey from Ko Samui which was as you remember beautiful sunshine and lovely beaches. We are now sitting in an internet cafe because it is absolutely peeing down with rain plus to make it even worse we are staying in a hotel next to a building site which we got woken up at 8:30 by a digger. Not impressed at all but weather should be fine in a couple of days. We chose a place called Kata which is supposed to be a really nice spot on Phuket and the surfing is supposed to be quite good too! Hopefully we will be meeting up with the two Irish lads from Ko Samui who have both lived here in Kata before. No pictures of Phuket as yet but will post some soon as well as some of our last night out in Ko Samui, went to a bar called Harry Africa's and drunk way too much Sambuca which made our journey to Phuket horrendous. So anyway me and Jemeela are hoping the weather will get better so we can get on the beach and have a go at surfing, Rock on Dude!!! Also hoping to visit Ko Phi Phi to do some snorkelling.
