Hi everyone, so including the day we arrived it is getting to the end of day 3 of our holiday. It is 5:30pm Wednesday night that I am typing this - having a break from the park before we head off for tea and back to Disneyland as it stays open until 11pm.
We had a great flight over, we were upgraded to premium economy and it was awesome. We had larger seats, stacks of leg room and seats that reclined with leg rests that folded out. Qantas was great to fly with. I was a bit apprehensive because I had been told some horror stories of flying international with them but they were great. On the plane we had lunch (which actually was dinner in USA time), I had chicken with veg and rice and Andrew had beef, there was a side salad, a roll cheese and crackers, icecream, coffee and soft drink. Later they came around and served hot chocolate and everyone also got a snack pack for the night. Service was great, staff friendly and telling jokes and regularly came through during the night serving water, juice and fruit. We probably stayed up too late watching TV and only ended up getting a couple of hours sleep........hehehe The best shows were transformers 2, UP and Stone Brothers - omg Bianca it was so funny.........lol
Got into LA at about 7:30am and got out to the hotel about 10am, check-in is normally 4pm but they had a room and let us check in heaps early. I had these grand plans to go out shopping for the day but all I wanted to do was shower and change and relax a bit. So went off and done our little bit of grocery shopping and got settled. Day 2 seen us off to Disneyland the happiest place on earth. Heaps of people but done all the rides and seen the Chrissy parade. Day 3 seen us at the other Disney Park - California Adventure and I did it, I rode the California Screamin Rollercoaster. Last time we were here Andrew went on it by himself but have been on it twice so far, a few more to go I think :-)
Anyway love it here, have brought 2 pairs of sketchers shoes already (trying to pace myself), won't tell you how many litre cans Andrew has had........hahaha. Seriously though sketchers are half the price they are back home so I would be a fool not to get it.
Weather is cold, today was the first day we could hang out in t-shirt for most of the day without putting on a jacket. Rain is forecast for the next few days so we are off shopping tomorrow then at the dog show on the weekend which we are going to drive to - omg so that will be an experience and a blog in itself I think.
One disappointment was going to the teddy bear factory and they did not have a rottweiler to stuff and accessorise :-( if I had a lab, terrier, boxer or get this portugese water dog I would have been right. I'm thinking a damn portugese water dog then Andrew reminded me well that is what the president has. I think he needs a real dog, a rotty.
Sorry it is not very descriptive, I am trying to catch up on a couple of days. We are now off to have dinner and ride some rides, see some fireworks and check out the fake snow again.
Catch ya on the flip side.

Sharon Clarke Hi Joanne, enjoying hearing about your trip and it sounds like you are having a fabulous time. We are flying Qantas in April to US as well - they looked after you!!
