I hear you're getting some good lessons in life on your travels!!
You should be on your way to the Taj Mahal now - what a thrill, I'd love to see it. I'm envious of this fabulous trip you're taking but it's the next best thing to read all about your experiences.
There's not much going on in this part of the world. We haven't been down to the beach for a while & the weather hasn't been great. We're not using the pool very much except, of course, for BJ - I uncover it every day just for him!!
Keep enjoying yourself & be careful!!
Love, Jill

Hi John and Hi to Alex!
You must be in Bombay by now (or I hope you are!) for the last few days in India for Alex and before you fly to Deli!
Hope all is going well for you, and I hope that the big city is not too big of an adjustment for you after all that jungle trekking!
Here at home all is well. Finally finished painting the deck, and today Ryan just mowed the lawn - it looks great!
Last weekend we went to Blue Lake - not many people there. The weather was a bit overcast with lots of sunbreaks, which was great for us especially since it rained most of last week in Seattle, including over the weekend.
Ryan is getting pretty serious about golf - he has definitely passed me up! ...but I still give him a hint or two once in a while...
We are thinking of going to Blue Lake the week of Aug 13 - maybe we can challenge Ryan to a game or two...
Looking forward to hearing from you and seeing some pictures of Goa and Bombay - I wonder how it has changed.
Say Hi to Alex, and both of you go out and have a good meal on us (real Indian, not Burger...)
Take care & have fun! Looking forward to hearing all your stories in not too many days now
Love - Dad

Hi John,
After reading Alex's and your last blogs...it's hard for me to put into words what I'd like to say to you both!!!! I didn't think you'd be going on an Indiana Jones adventure trip to India!
I am looking forward to your next postings so that I know that you are alive and well!
Wear sunscreen!
Love, Mom
p.s. Don't follow strangers!!

Your Illinois family is excited to read your blog and to see your photos. The windmills must have been quite a treat to see! Be sure to duck inside those little buses. Have fun!

Hi, John,
I admire your adventuresome spirit to travel to such incredible country as India. Your photos and stories are fun to view. "Oh, the places you'll go," as Dr. Seuss once said. Stay safe and please remember your typhoid medicine.
