WoW! Just had an amazing experience in around the mountains of Lake Issyk Kul. Spent 3 days living in a yurt at around 2000 metres with a local family there. The scenery was astounding! I had no idea Kyrgyzstan was this beautiful. So quiet, peaceful and stunning surroundings have been a superb finish to this trip! Wanted to take a guide and go hiking, but the lady who owned the yurt let me take her horse, so i went riding with a guide for the day! Was brilliant...

Hi from the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek. I arrived last night after an amazingly scenic road from Osh. It was a 11 hour drive over 2 mountain passes with an altitude over 3000 metres! Beautiful! Along the way were many locals living in their yurts, farming there horses and goats on picture postcard green fields under soaring white peaks.
