Well hi all,
Our new adventure started at 4.30pm Wednesday and took 25 minutes to stall . The train to Sydney broke down at Fassie fern ,all out all change. Luck for us the all stops train was only minute away so our journey slowed down , we stopped station I didn’t know were there.
Arrived at the hotel at 8pm . Tea ,bed , up with the help of the wake call at 4am.The flight left at 6.30am ,was smooth flight ,reasonable food ,good movies and a lot of babies. I felt for them as they felt every altitude change throughout the flight. It taught me that all babies cry in different tone and they all have different pitch. We arrived in Dubai at 2.00 pm Thursday though we had flown for 17 hrs , the temperature was a beautiful 45 degrees. The organised pickup was there as usual ,thanks to my travel guide, and the only 15 minute drive to the grand Hyatt motel.
Check in was a breeze our room is on the 9th floor we have a view of the city and the dryness, and boy is it dry. As is tradition it is now time to have a look around, and then have a ,”I’m on holidays drink”. We found this lovely little jazz bar which later would have live music up to 6 am .
6.30 it was eat time , so with our afternoon walk around we had found an Indian restaurant . It was nice but not great ,all the small meal were very spicy so much that the true flavour of them was lost. Eyes feel like there spring loaded in a down direction, so it is of to bed ,it is 8.30 pm
