We helped out best we could with Sam though we may have been more of a hindrance. After checking out Simons pimped out work truck we all headed into Invercargill for lunch and bumped into the Bay of Plenty team who would lose to Southland the next day, ha ha. We came across Burt's flying Indian in town and headed on out toward Riverton to try our hand at a bit of Whitebait fishing. Jo and Libby got over excited with the Paua jewellery while Simon, Sam and I didnt have any luck with the whitebait. Libby and Simon took good care of us and feed us well with home made battered blue cod and venison for breakfast! We took it easy with a trip down to Bluff then onto Oreti beach where Burt raced in the film and many years ago.
