Such a beautiful day 18C Blue sky, sunny no wind - beautiful! Ran up to London Bridge to spend some time with those wonderful people in the Cure Parkinson's office. Gave me an opportunity to meet new team member Anna, touch base with Theresa and Helen and pick up some collection boxes for a couple of pubs that are fundraising for us. I will never understand the British weather - it's no wonder it fills our conversation! High winds and rain this evening. How can two days be so different? At times I was blown to a standstill. And more importantly I nearly lost my cap - twice!! I guess this is very good training. Can't say I wasn't glad to get home PS Two months tomorow we start!

Some days were made for running! What a difference blue sky, white clouds, sunshine and 2 days rest can make. Could have run forever today! The cloud has lifted. Enjoyed 13 miles along the Thames this morning and didn't want to turn for home - running in T shirt and shorts for the first time in months! This is why I run. Tried out a couple of new bits of kit aswell: carried my i.pod on my arm (comfortable but not sure it will be practical?) and Rory's compression...

I guess we knew the day was comming! JT fine but my legs were very heavy today - managed 14 miles in 2.31.41 but it was sluggish and hard (especially all the hills - it was very hilly) but I guess it's what we have to get used to. I'm only telling you this so you know I'm not superhuman and it's not easy!! We've clocked 74 miles in 7 days. Definitely worth sponsoring!
