Fab photos, David Bailey. Now the blogs really make sense. Waterfalls and salt plains are phenomenal. The view from my bedroom window looks decidedly dull now. Dig the Inca hat. Will look great worn travelling on the Jubilee line.
Still missing you but delighted you're having the trip of a lifetime.

Interesting reading. A bit disappointed about the NW London approach to uphill biking. A great read - feeling quite jealous ... and old.

seeing that you're happy trekking and cycling everywhere, I'm selling your car as you clearly won't need it when back in Blighty! x

Ignore your Dad - he's such a pleb ... Enjoying your commentary ... but not enough comments/photography on food/wine/women ... not so much of the "verdant landscape" and more about the "verdant xxxxx please ...

Rio Blog -"once you have seen one imitation sculpture of Christ the Redeemer, you have seen them all"-ethnic bias? Dad. x

Keen to know the food that you were eating which has been censored ******.
Mark & I require a"highlights page" after your trip so that Mark & I can optimise OUR trip - you know that he has a thing about slumming it nowadays - bloody snob! Us royalty don't mind seeinh how the 'other half' live. Sounds like a fantastic trip

Michael Palin watch out! Pleased to hear you're partaking in all aspects of local culture: booze, food and spectacular scenery. Delighted not to hear about the extreme watersports until after you'd done it. Sounds terrifyingly amazing! x x x
