We were Both looking forward to Melaka as we had heard great things about it. The town was multicultural with its habitamts from Portugal, China, Malaysia, India and other parts if Southeast Asia which gave Melaka a really cosmopolitan feel. We decided to walk to our hotel from the bus station with some directions from some friendly locals. There are two little indias in KL (Kuala Lumper) and we were staying near to the one within walking distance of the main sites. After climbing the winding roads to the cameron highlands our coach conveniently pulled up outside our hotel.
