Hi to you all! We have now arrived in Oklahoma after a long 7 hour drive from Memphis yesterday. It took us a while to find a hotel but we have settled into another Comfort Inn as the last one in Memphis was very good!

Last night we ventured into Bricktown which is the 'place to be' within the City. Lots of restaurants, bars etc and a really pretty canal. We went to an Italian restaurant called Zio's and then took a boat ride on the canal which showed us the older part of the City. It is very different to Memphis, more modern and made for tourists! We also feel a little safer walking around at night! We even drove through the City at night with the roof down.

Today we have been to the shopping Mall and with a faster computer at the hotel, have managed to upload more photos into our Memphis album. We have tried to keep them in order so they will be some new ones nearer the beginning aswell! Tonight we are going to Bricktown again to the best and oldest Rib restaurant in the City and on to a bar to listen to some live music.

Tomorrow we leave for Amarillo, just an over-night stop but shouldn't take us as long, only 300 miles this time! We'll be in touch again soon, love to you all. Joe and Joanne xxxx
