How are you doing? Thought I'd be the first one to post you a letter on your message board! What a fab website....and as for the photos...it looks like you're having a brill time - am mad jealous!
Thanks a mill Jodes for all the newsy emails, it's been really great to hear how you've been getting on, and all that you've done and seen. Sounds like you met up with a really nice bunch of people....is the tour finished now? Must have been hard to say goodbye to all the gang....am sure there was a good farewell bash!
Things here are going fine. Nothing too exciting to report. I'm really looking forward to the trip to South Africa (your holiday pics, certainly put me in the mood! I need sunshine!) We'll be heading off in less than 3 weeks time (In fact, this time 3 weeks, Gav will be a married man! Which is a little bit scary.... I'm feeling like the elderly spinster sister!) Anyway, it should be a great trip - I'm sure your mum, Keith and Ryan are looking forward to it too. I just had my final fitting for the bridesmaid dress - and it's very nice (navy satin) It kinda looks a lot like a dress I've seen you in before, Jodes.
Dad says hello. I've been keeping him up to date on your travels. He is busy at the moment trying to organise a fundraising Folk Music night for next week (he needs to raise money for his trip to Peru next September with the MS Society) It should be a good night - he organised one last year and it was a great success - fingers crossed this year will go ok too.
No other news. It looks like the builder will start working on my house next month, so am delighted about that ....there's been a helluva lot of talk and not a lot of action - so the sooner they start building the better!
Granny seems to be doing ok. I called over to her yesterday and she got up (with only a little coaxing!) and had some Guinness - so that's good.
Well, I'd better get back to work....(the 9 to 5 routine is certainly not as exciting as backpacking through south east Asia!)
Keep on having fun :)
Lots of love
