Today we went to Melbourne to do the neighbours tour and to meet up with Tess and Ella (friends from home) they had just got back to oz after 6 weeks in Thailand! We started off the day with a tram to federation square which is pretty cool and saw flinders street station, and then we had to go back to the neighbours main office thing to say we'd arrived. The bus was great.. Plastered in pics of Dr. Carl Kennedy. The tour itself was cool we got to see the school, the street, one of the cast and the studios where it is filmed (just the outside though) it lasted for about 2 and a half hours and my fave. Bit was the street although to be honest it is soo tiny compared to how it looks on TV! We managed to get piccies on there just before the film crew came so we got to see them setting up too which is cool, annoying though if you live in one of the houses as they probably cant go out. They do get paid though! The star we met was Declan.. Rebecca's son if any of you watch it.

After the Neighbours tour we went to Fitzroy to meet Ella and Tess and we started off in this well cool little place that served $4 pizza's. It had an upstairs bit with loads of mosaic lanterns on the roof. We followed on by going to a nice bar called the Black Pearl, which feels just like a gorgeous living room.. really cosy! We were still staying in Geelong and the train took over an hour to get back so we had to leave pretty early but I had a really great time. Wish we could have seen more of Melbourne but with everything were doing after (new Zealand etc) then its better to save money. Thanks Kim for having us all this time.
