hello form KL. got tto pondok lodge late evening- how cool isthat name by the way? bit daunting as you have to go up a flight of stairs between two bars but once up tho twas cool. nice and safe - locked doors end everything! turns out we were quite central. so that was sat night. only got a snack to eat at bar downstairs. sunday morning - met some guy that dave knows - he basically took us round KL for the day. which was really sweet of him. we went up a tower and saw the city - however we didnt go up the petronas towers - which you can see in the pic above - coz theyre so busy! look proper cool tho. had an indian for lunch. was generally fun and nice to meet new people. sat in a bar later on - quite expensive for drinks belevie it or not. nit gutting. saw quite a few lady boys. sometimes its quite unnerving coz your not sure - theyre just so convincing! on monday, slept in due to hangover. bummed about. went to merdeka square in the eve. bit of a shopping early afternoon. merdeka square is beautiful - found some dodgy ass bar that my guide recommended . we left there swiftly. went and had a brazilian...meal near our hostel, ity was like an all you could eat buffet - and they just kept bringing out all these amazing different meats on skewers - and coming over to you with them - oh my god - i was so full after that! lovely though. early night - was supposed to be meeting john and chris but chris didnt want to drink and so they were bowling at their hotel - miles away from us!
