What a day. Busy, busy, busy. Our day started at 6:30AM as usual and off we went to Cologne,Germany and visited a wonderful town full of shops and the beautiful Cologne Cathedral. It was just awesome seeing all the statues and just the overall opulance of this cathedral. The story goes that in world war II the whole town was bombed and basically flatened with the exception of this cathedral. It was rather overpowering to feel my faith and roots as I wandered around this massive chrurch. I even went so far as to light a candle for those departed loved ones of mine. I also most certainly prayed for my family and friends. Later we took a beautiful river cruise down the Reine river. There is so much history in this country. Some good and some very tragic. It is beautiful and green with a lot of wine fields on hills so steep they are almost totally vertical. I had to wonder how they can even harvest the crops. There are about 50 people on our tour. They are mostly Canadians and Austrailians but guess who is the only American. We have gotten some laughs over that. I told them I have may Canadian pin and will surprise them by wearing it tomorrow. Goodnight for now. Another early morning tomorrow and I believe we are off to Austria. Much love to you all.

Nancy Judge Wow, it feels like I'm seeing Linderhof Castle all over again. I thought it was a stunning and beautiful castle. Austria is impressive as well, and you'll enjoy your time there.
