Hello everyone, we are in Florence at the moment and are leaving for Rome tomorrow. Today we saw the statue of David by Michelangelo which was massive. Yesterday we queued for an hour and 40 mins to go into the Uffizi gallery where we saw Botticellis Birth of Venus and the Allegory of Spring. Hello everyone, we are now in Florence. We saw the Boboli gardens today and mel went to sleep under a tree! Its so hot here and we dont have any air con or a fan, bring on Rome! We had a lovely dinner out last night, it is cheaper here than Venice. We are looking forward to seeing the Statue of David and the Birth of Venice in the next few days. Hello everyone we went to see the famous tower today, it leans a lot but it is much smaller than we expected. We have been lounging around in the shade in gardens for most of the day, a lot of sleeping and eating is going on. It is nice to have a break from sightseeing between Venice and Florence. Hi everyone, thank you to everyone who has left us comments, sorry we have not updated our site for ages but Venice was lacking in cheap internet cafes. We had 6 nights in Venice and are now in Pisa.
