Well.... where do I start! Its been while since Ive updated the blog, mainly due to power cuts, so no internet when ive remembered the blog needs updating!
We had a brillant time in Da lat, we then head to the coastal town of Mui Ne. The bus there took 5 hours although it seemed so much longer because of all the pot holes in the road, we were consitantly jumping up and down in our seats, being thrown about everywhere! We finally got to Mui Ne the driver wasnt sure of the hotel that were said to him that we wanted to stay in, so he just dropped us on the road, nowhere near anything. So we got a moped to take us to the busiest strip and we found a reasonably cheap hotel to stay in. We had some dinner and went for a few drinks. Fairly quiet first night.
The next day we had a look at the beach, and just by the beach we found a bar/swimimng pool that you only needed to buy one drink and you could lay by the pool on a sunlounger. So we stayed there all day and got talking to some guys and decided to do a tour with them the next day.
A jeep picked us up the next day and we had a great tour around the area, visiting a stream going through a valley, a fishing village and the red and white sand dunes. We were ment to be on the sand dunes for sunset, but as it was cloudy, we decided to go to a indian resturant that the boys had seem previously, instead! That night we went to a bar that had only just opened, had far too many cocktails and ended up swimming in the sea with 15 people at 5am!!
The rest of the time in Mui Ne was spent relaxing on the beach/by the pool and having farily quiet evenings. We got the bus staight to Nha Thrang and ended up sharing a room with a girl we had talked to on the bus. That night we had a great night out and ended up bumping in so so many people that we had seen in Mui Ne, Saigon and even people we had ment in Cambodia! Had a great time in Nha Trang, going to the Mud Baths, where were pampered for hours for just over £2, another day we went on a little cable car to a island to a water park, there were hardly any westerners there and with the Vietnamese looking at us and saying hello every minute, we felt we were the attraction! Another day we went to a market and walked all around the city.
We left Nha Trang on a night bus, a coach size bus that had no seats, just full of bunk beds, and as the driver was so crazy, it literally felt and looked a bit like that the night
sleeping bus that was in the second Harry Potter film!! Madness!!
12 hours later we arrived here, in Hoi An, a beautiful town with a very french feel to it. Its very famous for its tailor made shops, and already i have had made, 4 dresses, 2 pairs of shoes and 1 jacket! its dangerous! If I keep like i am im going to end up home in a month!!!
Plan to spend the next few days, on a boat trip, walking round the markets and trying not to get any more clothes made!
