Day 46 - Halong Bay We got up early and got ready for our trip. We had a quick wander for some breakfast and found a street vendor selling freshly baked cinnamon buns. Day 44 - Hanoi  We woke up today feeling a bit more human than we had done when we went to bed and went out to explore. Hanoi was totally different from the impression I had got when we arrived at midnight the night before! It was mental, the traffic is more crazy than you could imagine. Day 42 - Luang Prabang We checked out of our hotel at 12, and had to wait until 5 for our bus to vietnam. It was pouring of rain and since we had no where to go to dry off, I ended up with a cold. We spent some time in a bar playing pool then went for some food before we got on the bus. The bus to Vietnam is 24 hours, so we booked a sleeper bus. Day 39 - Luang Prabang The hostel we had booked into last night was pretty much a dump, so when we got up today we checked out and went to find somewhere better. We had lunch first and then went wandering around the city. We found a really nice guesthouse with a lovely double room for the same price we were paying in the hostel, so we booked it and went back tote hostel to get our bags. Day 37 - Vang Vieng Today we had a bit of a lie in, then went for lunch and to watch some more friends. After a couple of episodes we went to the Market stalls to buy our 'tubing in the vang vieng' souvenir tshirts that everyone wears when tubing. We both got 2 tshirts each and I bought new flip flops and a pair of shorts, we got all of it for £7 - bargain.
