So today I received an e-mail from OffExploring to buy a printed book of my travels. I had not thought about this website in so long. I used it while I was off studying abroad in China back in 2009. A whole 10 years ago. At this time I was in Washington, DC. Funny that this post is actually 10 years after my last post in Washington DC. I have never really been the biggest blogger, which I why I have never really kept it up and also probably why I didn't really capture my stay in Washington DC. It was nice to reread some of my old entries. Relive some of my old memories and how I felt at the time. I think it might be good to start that up again. I have had some small adventures since them. Graduated from college, moved to Hawaii for what I thought would only be a gap year while I applied to law school. Then ended up staying calling this place home. Add another bachelors degree and almost finished with my master's degree. A lot has changed. I am not the person that I thought I would be all those years ago when I was in China. My life has definitely taken a different path. Thought it has not been a bad thing. Had many days of laughter, many tears, broken hearts, loved a few...made friends that I don't know what I would do without now.

For the past 3-4 years my life has revolved around working on my nursing degrees and working as a nurse. I haven't done a whole lot of traveling. Small trips here and there. Last was back to California. As I finish up my last semester for my MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner, I am thinking about my next trip. My boyfriend and I have been debating about where to go next. He knows I have been working so hard and just putting in the daily grind. It will be time for a vacation. Where to next, I am not sure. Maybe you'll see another post here in the next few months. Hopefully involving me jumping on a plane to visit a new place. Will see what the future holds.
