I am currently planning a trip to the Pertentian Islands in Malaysia. It's a mix of holiday and work so I will be needing internet (I very, very much prefer to have my own rather than having to go to an internet café and check for work emails several times a day). Googling the issue, I came across your blog and was wondering if you could give me a few tips on getting internet? I am looking at a backpacker budget so something like a hut on Long Beach would be ideal - again, provided that I can somehow gain access to the internet. Anyway, if you have a few tips, they would be greatly appreciated, you're most welcome to email me!

Yeh i think i'm just going to have to wait until i'm in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore or Australia with decent internet connection & spend ages uploading photos to facebook then do as you suggest & import them onto here. Its just very frustrating.

Jane - sorry i didnt reply to your message earlier - we are now in Taman Negara in Malaysia which is a huge jungle - we are doing a 7hr trek tomorrow & staying overnight at a hide in the middle of the jungle to see what animals come out to play at night! Should be fun.

Just been reading your blog sounds like you having a fantastic time and you right diving is real fun. Up loading photos, my son-in-law had problems up loading photos to this site, in the end he up loaded them to face book and then attached a link.

Gossip up date Lauren has left, her contract was cancelled as Angela Surtees job came to an end at County Hall Therefore she is now back in her old roll and very happy about the change.
