We felt like zombies when the alarm went off at 7am this morning, but we're running out of time in Budapest so we forced ourselves out of bed in early enough to line up for tickets to tour the Parliament building. After a quick breakfast we made the now all-too-familiar trek and bought yet another round of outrageously overpriced entry tickets. I really dropped the ball on the museum budgeting for this city; I guess I just assumed it would be cheap. Think again! ...

Yesterday started with some serious power walking. We probably looked like those weirdos in Central Park that walk so fast their butts swing out further than their arms. It's pretty much my fault; I thought it would take us half an hour (tops) to hike from our hostel to the bus station, and I was very wrong. It would've taken about four minutes on the conveniently located metro, but why spend five dollars when you can jog with a loaded backpack for almost an hour...

Yesterday was the last full day we'd have with our museum passes so we had to make it count and do a much as we could. Our guide on the bike tour told us we should swing by City Hall for a tour. I wasn't all that excited about it (how fun would touring Tampa's City Hall be?) but it was on the way to the aquarium so we stopped in. I'm so glad we did! This is our first time flying Norwegian and I wasn't sure what to expect. I was so worried Chelsea would overpack that I even paid extra so we could check bags, which makes me cringe to think about. Turns out her pack was the smallest out of the three! I still haven't figured that one out yet but kudos to her for bruising my ego :) The plane was brand new and had all kinds of fancy features. We're on a winning streak here: not only was our bus to Cartagena on time, it was also the nicest bus we've been on this entire trip. We had air conditioning and seats that didn't force our knees to our chins! We had a television and window shades! Ah, it was glorious! To top it off, the first movie we watched on the four hour trip was Life of Pi, which I've been dying to see since reading the book. The movie was good, but I'm extremely glad that I read the story...
