Had a great few days in Paris. Seen it all and the weather and kids have been fantastic. We walk, take the bus, metro, boats. What a great town. Did the Louvre today, unbelievable amounts of priceless items. Hard to comprehend it all. Great apartment just near Pompidou and Notre Dame. Kids love all the street artists. Glad we made the effort to come here for these 5 days. Doing the big open air markets in the north of the city tomorrow. Back in Encinitas Tuesday.

Started in a town that was first buoy in the year 606. Made our way north for a picnic, helped a guy flood the lock to get a boat through, had a glass of wine in Chablis, then made it to our hotel in Versailles that used to be the stables for Louis the 14th. Toured the gardens and we are back tomorrow morning for the castle. See latest photos.

Headed out of Chamonix this morning and made it to the heart of Burgundy to the town of Semur-en-Auxios. We will explore Tuesday morning then to Versailles.

Third session began today and we headed out to France. Left the rain and had an amazing drive to Chamonix. We hung out in town all morning, heading back in a bit. What a great town and the views are amazing. Some clouds rolled in, hope to get in a hike Monday. Right outside our hotel was a massive rock wall with tons of people climbing. There were a few small lakes and on one of them was a cool old ruin. Chamonix is a great area.

Few more days at camp then off to Chamonix and then Paris.
