Mardi gras 2014! The biggest gay parade in the world! It was incredible the atmosphere in the city was huge. Everyone gets so involved and supports it which is so lovely to see. I went with my Italian friend Isabelle but a few other friends were there too, so were more than 500,000 other people all packed on one street. The outfits and costumes were amazing and some stood metres in the air. After the 3 hour parade and fireworks an gay pride coloured flames me and Isabella met a friend of hers and had some food an a drink by darling harbour. It was a great experience and so nice to see so many people supporting gay rights.
