I woke early with Eli an American guy and Cynthia a French women to go to Ngong hills to hike. Ngong in Swahili means knuckle because this is the shape of the trail. The hills are in the Rift Valley giving you beautiful views 360! Nairobi national park, Nairobi and Mount Kenya can be seen from the trail. After getting an Uber to the start we paid our park fees and then hired an armed guard to escort us, due to incidents with thieves on the trail. $11 Later we head off on our hike, taking us up 5 very steep valleys to get to the peak before returning the same way, completing the hike in 4.5 hours. Another great hike, I'm tempted to put myself through more pain for these views!
