Jess in Europe
Reims is cute and beautiful! I am glad to be out of the city!
Evann and i checked into the hostel yesterday after being VERY confused and hung over when we got off the train. None of the numbers i had were working and i had no idea how to get where we needed to be. LUCKILY there was a cap station at the train station, and it had AIR CONDITIONING! best 7 euros ever spent! :)
we actually didnt really leave the hostel yesterday, we ventured out to the grocery store where we both discovered a love for french supermarkets and a hate for their checkout clerks, helllllooo b**** much? and you have to pay to use a cart and there are theft door thingys everywhere to leave, I a, guessing food theft is a problem?
I really wanted mexican so I got the french equivellant of fajita stuff and we went back and cooked it in the HOTTEST kitchen ever! it was crowded with all kinds of people from portegual, Poland, Iran, Spain, Germany. SO many languages and Evann and I were the only girls... oy!
Evanns belly button is actually infected and the poor girl was SO much pain last night and convinced she was going to die from some sort of infection. Luckily she is a little better this morning and still alive, we got saline solution for it.
We rented bikes and are not peddling around Reims today enjoying the cutness of this town trying to find some sort of wine tour we can go on tomorrow. I NEED to do laundry tonight, I al out of undies as of this morning? so wish me luck trying to figure it out! eeeeee!
Think we are going to go shopping and enjoy the cute lake right across the street from our hostel! YAY!
I believe we are actually splitting up for a few days, she really wants to go to Switzerland and I want to go to the Spanish coast. We will meet up in Nice.
Miss you all! I had my first bout of home sickness last night, but I suppose being tired, hot and hung over will do that to you!
Off to explore on my bike!
