The day has finally come when i have to return my rental car. So i got up early, made sure all my things was in my bag and drove to Jacksonville international airport to return my car. From there i took the buss to Greyhound buss-terminal and left my big bag there in a locker and went down to the riverfront.
Walking around in Jacksonville i wondered what to do to kill some time. I had a few hours before i had to be back at the buss-terminal. So i came to the sopping mall and found a map. With that in my hand i at least wouldn't get lost... lol, but still no idea what to do. While i was standing there a man came up to me and asked if i needed help so i told him i would like to see something interesting and he told me to go down to the tunnels. The tunnels was indeed tunnels from a bank to the vaults well the vaults wasn't in use anymore, but they were still there. Today you can walk in the tunnels and see pictures of how the old Jacksonville was looking like and what it looks like today from the same spot. It was amazing to see what had changed between 1960 and 2010.
So i got back and headed down to the riverfront again and went to an Irish pub for some food and cold drinks, and there i spent a few hours writing postcards, talking with the bartender and looking at the people walking by.
soon enough i had to go back to the buss-terminal to start the final part of my journey, going by buss down to Miami....
