Hey everyone, addedd a few photos, will comment later as running out of internet time, have enjoyed our time in Bangkok, awaiting our 12 hour bus ride to phuket in 6hrs time. o the joy!!!

Well finally arrived in Phuket after a 20 hour bus journey!!! and it raining!!!! but on the upside we have free Internet use!!.....so seeing we have time on our hands were update you on the 5days we had in Bangkok. Firstly our hotel was like the ritz compared to our on in Hong Kong so when we both walked into it for the first time we couldn't wipe the smile off our faces!! :-)

Our first day we attempted to go to the Grand Palace.......ATTEMPTED is the key word inthis sentance!! firstly we decided to walk as we thopught it wasnt to far away......but got attacked by pigeons and the pigeon lady as see kept throwing seeds at them and then asked us for money??? how does that work??!! lol. We finally got away from her and arrived at the palace.....to be told that it was closed!! Well it wasnt closed but gullible us, we believed them! So we went on a round trip of bankok for like 80p on a tuk tuk......One hour into the tour the tuk tuk broke down and we had to be towed (by a piece of rope) to the nearest petrol station!!!!

Well after that eventful day we headed out again to the grand palace this time taking the boat and ignoring everyone that spoke to us....we made it!! it was great and very interesting. Emma loved it!! Day went well....but something had to happen, we got to the peir to catch the boat back to the hotel and it started thunder and lightning followed bu more rain that was actually in the river! we took shelter under a nearby flag until the boat came....then ran back to the hotel! as you can imagine we were soaked!

Sunday we did a day trip....up at 6. We went to the floating market which was awesome, extremly busy! Then to the bridge over the river Kwai...Emma loved that too! then we went to the tiger temple....that was amazing!! we were able to stroke (not sure weither thats the best word!!) the tigers and have photos taking with them! Emma even got to lie down with one, where as i was being chased by a camel! After smashing a pumkin at it (i was trying to feed it!!) i was absolutly petrified whereas emma found it absolutly hilarious!! Didnt get back to th hotel till bout 7:30 so just had a relaxing evening....went out for a nice meal and emma and i enjoyed some relaxing time with our feet being sucked by lil fish!! and they actually lived!! it was weird but great! like lots of things in Bangkok! like the ladyboys! in Patpong....that was an experience.....lol!!

Were keep you updated with what we get up to in phuket....no plans as yet but thats the best bit of travelling!! :-)
