Leaving amsterdam tonight on the night train to go to munich, where i got a nice break from spending so much money, the night train reservation was only 4 euro and the hostel for tomorrow night, is only 8 euro because they are doing a deal where they are apprecaiting americans and you can pay the euro in dollars so it was 15 euros so i pay 15 dollars which is like 8 euros, so amsterdam has been wild and crazy and i need to leave or i might not ever leave, this place is so interesting I have learned so much here to like marijuanna is not actually legal here it is just decriminalized, and a whole bunch about the history of how it use to be one of the most powerful places adn blah blah blah. I went on a walking tour and saw the old church, the red light district, the jewish qquarter, the royal palace , the jordaan district, the anne frank house the dutch east india company, the begijnhof convent, some dutch art, the widest bridge and smallest house (which was histericall i have tons of pictures it was less than 6 feet wide) the hidden catholic churches, the multatulis giant head, the munttoren, the has marijuana and hemp museum , and gable stones. I learned about of the most unknown historical events when the dutch finally fought back against the nazis it was a horrible loss but they were the only ones to rebel supposively like they did the nazi demolested them but they tried and no one really knows of this story i guess the tour was amazing!!! and it was free the tours all of europe for backpackers that are free and you tip if you can and if you cant its fine, but our tour guide was awesome we all tipped. I found a fifty dollar bill on the side of a road and no one around to clam it so i bought myself dinner and a dress it was nice.. I had a massive picnic in the park with four other fellow backpackers, we had five different types of cheese and lots of bread and fruit and wine and deliciuosness, the red light district is quite shocking but you get over it fast. Interesting society, they have the least amount of heavy drug users compared to percentage of population to any other european country and they are 7th on the list for marijuana smokers, which is suprising since you can with out a penalty here. and less crime than america and junkies. well didnt go to any museums but i learned a bunch about the city, history is much funner walking through it interactively than reading about it. offf to munich!!! BEEER GARDENS!!! : ) : ) : )
